You can remove a device from your Bitdefender subscription to free up a device slot when:
- You no longer own the device.
- The device is no longer working or has become inactive.
- You no longer want the device associated with your Bitdefender Central account.
If you no longer intend to use a device, you can remove it from the My Devices section of Bitdefender Central.
Remove a Device from Bitdefender Central
- Go to https://central.bitdefender.com/ and sign in with your e-mail address and password.
- In the left-side menu, click on My Devices.
- Click Family Devices if you have a Bitdefender Family plan.
- Or click Business Devices if you have Bitdefender Ultimate Small Business Security.
- Click the View details or View issues button on the device you want to remove.
- Click Remove in the upper-right corner of the page.
- Choose Remove again to confirm the action.
Once the device is removed, the number of available device slots in your subscription will be updated shortly.
Note: Removing a device from your Bitdefender Central account automatically signs out all Bitdefender applications installed on that device.

Uninstall Bitdefender from the Removed Device
Removing a device from Bitdefender Central does not uninstall the Bitdefender software from that device.
