How to Set Bitdefender SecurePass as Default Password Manager on Android

This guide walks you through the steps to set Bitdefender SecurePass as your default password manager on Android devices.


 

1. Open the Bitdefender SecurePass app Bitdefender SecurePass installed on your Android smartphone or tablet.

2. Tap the Settings icon ( ⚙︎ ) in the bottom navigation bar.

3. Tap Default passwords app.

4. In the Autofill service list, enable Bitdefender SecurePass, then tap OK to confirm.

You can also enable SecurePass from Android settings:

Go to to Android SettingsPasswords & accounts (or SystemLanguage & Input → Advanced on Android 11 and earlier) → Autofill service → select Bitdefender SecurePass.

Additional steps for Chrome (v 135+) and Brave (v 1.79.119+)

If you use Chrome or Brave, follow these extra steps:

5. Open your Chrome or Brave browser, then tap the menu in the top-right corner.

6. Go to SettingsAutofill Services.

7. Select Autofill using another service → tap Restart Chrome or Restart Brave when prompted.

You’re all set! Bitdefender SecurePass is now your default password manager on Android.
