The current document intends to provide answers to the most asked questions in terms of licensing, registration and the customer's account on BitDefender website.

 Registering BitDefender 2009
Whenever a BitDefender product is purchased, our customers receive the product as a 30 days trial version and a license key to register it.

The BitDefender license key/serial number is the 20 digit serial code that you receive after purchasing BitDefender. The product is not pre-registered, therefore customers need to perform the BitDefender registration process.

Note! You can register the product either at the moment of installing BitDefender, or at a later time, if you just want to evaluate the software.

This article describes all the steps you need to perform in order to have a properly registered BitDefender product.

 Windows Vista Compatibility
The following products will be Vista-compatible starting with January 2007:

BitDefender Antivirus v10.2
BitDefender Antivirus Plus v10.2
BitDefender Internet Security v10.2

The Windows Vista 64-bit version is NOT supported yet.
