Bitdefender secures Westpac customers with Internet Security 2012
Award-winning security technology will help to safeguard users when online
BitDefender®, an award-winning provider of innovative antivirus solutions, today announced a new partnership with the Westpac Group, one of the major finance service brands in Australia. All Westpac, St. George, Bank SA and Bank of Melbourne customers will now be offered a one year free subscription to Bitdefender Internet Security 2012.
To access the free security protection, customer must sign in to their Online Banking account and select Security from the menu. Then select the '1 year full protection' link and follow the Bitdefender sign up instructions.
Using technology, ranked top in a series of independent industry tests, Bitdefender Internet Security 2012 will help Westpac customers keep their personal data and identity safe when using the Internet. The suite offers antivirus, antispam, firewall and parental controls, as well as social networking protection against malicious pages and privacy threats.
This partnership is a first for Bitdefender in Australia, offering Westpac customers a one year license of Bitdefender Internet Security 2012, to give them piece of mind against online theft, and helping to ensure their identity remains secure as well as safeguarding against internet fraud.
